Cost
New registration
The fees for Domain name registration (under Romania's generic top level domains) varies depending on the payment option and the registration term choosen.
The fee covers initial registration and updates to the domain name's database record for the period choosen upon registration. The default registration term is two years. Updates that are not covered by this fee are: changes to the domain name itself; transfers of the domain name to another party; changes in the Organization's information that in effect represent a transfer of the domain name to another legal entity. These actions are not considered updates and require a new registration to be processed, which will be subject to anew registration fee.

Changes in the Organization's information that result from a legal change in the Organization's name or a move to a new location will be covered by the maintenance fee. After submitting the modified domain name Agreement, the Organization must fax hostmaster the following information on Organization letterhead:

  1. RomNIC tracking number received after submitting modify Agreement.
  2. a statement, signed by an individual who has legally binding authority for the Organization (for example: owner, president, vice-president, or CEO), that explains the reason(s) for the change and authorizes that the changes be made. Include the printed name, title, and phone number of the signatory. This must be signed by an individual having legally binding authority to the organization, such as the owner, president, vice-president, or CEO. Include the printed name, title, and phone number of the signatory.
Renewal
The annual domain name renewal (after initial period) varies depending on the payment option and the registration term choosen.
The fee covers updates to domain name's database record. Updates that are not covered by this fee are: changes in the domain name itself, transfers of the domain name to another party, changes in the Organization beyond a change of the Organization's name. These actions are not considered updates and require a new registration to be processed.
