- The
fees for Domain name registration (under Romania's
generic top level
domains)
varies depending on the payment option and the
registration term choosen.
The fee covers initial registration and updates to the
domain name's database record for the period choosen upon
registration. The default registration term is two
years. Updates that are not covered by this fee are:
changes to the domain name itself; transfers of the
domain name to another party; changes in the
Organization's information that in effect represent a
transfer of the domain name to another legal entity.
These actions are not considered updates and require a
new registration to be processed, which will be subject
to anew registration fee.
Changes
in the Organization's information that result from a
legal change in the Organization's name or a move to a
new location will be covered by the maintenance fee.
After submitting the modified domain name Agreement, the
Organization must fax hostmaster the following
information on Organization letterhead:
- RomNIC
tracking number received after submitting modify
Agreement.
- a
statement, signed by an individual who has legally
binding authority for the Organization (for example:
owner, president, vice-president, or CEO), that
explains the reason(s) for the change and authorizes
that the changes be made. Include the printed name,
title, and phone number of the signatory. This must be
signed by an individual having legally binding
authority to the organization, such as the owner,
president, vice-president, or CEO. Include the printed
name, title, and phone number of the
signatory.
- Renewal
- The
annual domain name renewal (after initial period) varies
depending on the payment option and the registration term
choosen.
The fee covers updates to domain name's database record.
Updates that are not covered by this fee are: changes in
the domain name itself, transfers of the domain name to
another party, changes in the Organization beyond a
change of the Organization's name. These actions are not
considered updates and require a new registration to be
processed.

Under normal conditions, after name activation, an
invoice is sent to the billing contact by postal or
electronic mail, both as plain text and as
Adobe
Acrobat PDF.

Payment is due within 30 days. If payment is not received
by the due date, the domain name is subject to
deactivation and deletion.
When
more than 10 names are registered in any 30-day period
and/or when there is a record of bad credit risk, the
Registrar reserves the right to apply different
procedures.
- Renewal

renewal fee is due, an invoice is sent to the billing
contact by electronic mail both as plain text and as
Adobe
Acrobat PDF.
Payment is due within 30 days. If payment is not
received by the due date (anniversary date), the
domain name is subject to deactivation and
